CEREDDA Accredited to Observe the October 12, 2025 Presidential Elections in Cameroon
The Centre for Research on Democracy and Development in Africa (CEREDDA) is pleased to inform the public and all stakeholders that it has been officially granted authorization to serve as one of the accredited organizations to observe the upcoming presidential elections in Cameroon, scheduled for October 12, 2025.
This accreditation was confirmed by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, and the full list of CEREDDA’s duly accredited observers has been signed and published accordingly.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time CEREDDA has participated in electoral observation in Cameroon. Over the years, CEREDDA has remained committed to promoting democracy, transparency, and inclusive governance through impartial and credible election monitoring.
In line with our mission, CEREDDA observers will be deployed across designated areas to contribute to a transparent, peaceful, and credible electoral process.
We call on all stakeholders, political actors, and citizens to uphold democratic values, respect the rule of law, and participate peacefully in this important national exercise.
