Programme Officer — CEREDDA
Sophie Silo Njonje is a Programme Officer at CEREDDA, actively engaged in the planning, coordination, and on-the-ground delivery of the organisation's programmes on democracy, governance, and inclusive development across Africa. She brings energy, commitment, and a youth-oriented perspective to CEREDDA's continental work.
As part of the CEREDDA programme team, Sophie contributes to youth engagement initiatives, policy dialogue facilitation, and research dissemination activities, working at the intersection of civil society action and institutional advocacy for good governance on the continent.
Sophie embodies CEREDDA's commitment to the next generation of African governance practitioners — bringing fresh perspectives on inclusion, digital engagement, and participatory development to the organisation's established programmes and new initiatives.
Young Africans are not just stakeholders in the continent's future — we are the architects. That is why we must be at every table where the future is being designed.
